1 Month

On today, Leap day our little Zee is a month old. I cannot believe how quickly the time has passed. 

We will be moving him out of his sweet owl packNplay and into his own bed soon, so sad how big he is already!

Don't you just wish that you could get someone to let you sleep in a seat and carry you all around all of the time? 

Yeah, me neither. 

I love sleeping kiddos!

This is Bug in the wee hours of the night, celebrating his Birthday was hard work. He woke up and we managed to get him back to sleep by snuggling on the couch. I love this sleeping boy, my heart feels so much peace snuggling with him in these sacred hours of the night. 

My cute friend Chelsea gave Zee this outfit and it is one of my very favorites, he really is too big for it but I wanted pictures. I especially love the dinosaur feet! Sooo cute!

The dinosaur feet are super cute, but the baby is cuter! All of the cuteness together is almost too much!

Happy Birthday Buggy!

Happy 2nd Birthday to our little Buggy Boy!

It was a crazy day, but we did make these interesting hot dog/spaghetti things off of Pinterest. I am not sure how I feel about them, but the kiddos sure liked them. 

Bug is pretty serious about his food, and although he refuses to sit in the highchair he prefers to eat standing up. Joy.

This boy really and I mean REALLY likes his cupcakes!

He actually blew out the candles, he is getting so big!

Bean and Peanut really went all out and spent their own money to get their brother meaningful gifts this year, I was so proud of them. Bean get Bug a Thomas blanket and Peanut got Bug a hat just like his (Bug keeps stealing Peanut's hat). 

I cannot express how much our life changed a few years ago when this sweet boy entered our lives. This boy was so wanted, so anticipated, and so loved. We made the choice to go from two slightly self sufficient children right back to the baby stage, and I would never look back. 

Because this sweet boy was born his new, tiny brother was also welcomed into our family. As I said before our life changed and I would never go back. I love all of my children and am so thankful for each and every one of them.

Bug is his own person, he is a VERY strong willed little boy. 

Some things that make Bug so special and amazing are:

That he is just like his older brother

That he is hilarious and also so smart

I love that although this boy does not talk a lot he has enough personality to make up for it.

Bug looks up to his older siblings so very much.

I feel a peace about this little boy that I cannot explain, one of my favorite things in the world is to hold him and snuggle with him when he is asleep.

We are so blessed!

Random Thoughts, Crazy TImes

So Bug keeps giving his little brother everything he needs to be happy. Zee was napping in the swing and Bug brought him a binky (or five) and his elephant. It is sweet to see how gentile and kind Bug is being to his baby brother. 

I am sure "this too shall pass" but we are loving it for now.

Our dear friends just had their first child and we are sooooo excited for them! This tiny guy is just 2-3 weeks younger than Zee but he is so tiny! I love it!

Little G's mom looks pretty rad for just having a c-section too. I mean who looks this good? Congrats friends!

And finally, this is total proof that I am losing my mind. I went into the bedroom to kiss my boys goodnight and saw this. For a moment I was totally sure it was Peanut. After I realized it was just a mafia-looking Angry Bird I just laughed a lot and then grabbed the camera. 

I love my children!

Same Outfit Almost 1 Month Later

I was heading off to knitting guild tonight and wanted to show off my new baby and all of the awesome knitwear that I made for him right before he was born. I am not all about taking my new little guy out in the germ infested world just yet so I snapped some pictures instead. I can't believe it has been almost a month!

I totally love that he smiles all of the time in his sleep. Zee is sure a happy boy!

We are presently obsessed with this little guy, plus he moves around a lot less than the other three. 

Obsessed with baby feet? Why yes I am. 

I also really love this little guy too, he has had it rough. We play a lot with everyone, but have not been so consistent with bedtime and nap routines, we are working on getting everyone back on track but for now Bug just zonks out wherever.

If I were a cooler parent with more space than we needed in our home I would totally recreate this room for my boys. 

I am not so we will all just have to dream.

Big Brother Loves Zee!

Peanut was not chomping at the bit to hold his brother, today he asked to hold him. I think he loves his little brother a whole lot.

Within seconds of taking this picture, Zee promptly urked all over Peanut. It was awesome, Peanut was thrilled let me tell you. 

Oh life with a newborn.

Growing So Fast!

Zee totally knows that we are getting ready to give him a bath. See how excited he is. 

I realized that this sweet boy is totally growing out of his Newborn size clothes. This is one of my favorite sleepers on him so I wanted to take some pictures.

I think he is just tolerating us. 

I also like this picture because you can see some of the lighter hair I think he is going to end up with, Bug was the same way.

This one is great because you can see how he is just fitting into these clothes. He is not a tiny little guy any more. Boo.

I had to get this one because I love his chunky little belly and you can see how much his legs have grown in just a few days. This baby is not having problems with growth, he is a healthy boy!

I may be a little biased but I freaking LOVE this boy!

My two little boys today were cracking me up. They both like to sleep in the same type of chair apparently. I just need a picture of Peanut in the BIG chair (which he hangs out in a lot) to complete the set. 

Poor little Bug, our schedule has been off so this is where he has been taking his naps lately. Mother of the year award over here. I mean he totally looks comfortable right?

Love Those Little Legs!

This little guy has already grown a ton, but I wanted to take a picture of his tiny little chicken legs before he fills out any more. I wish I had thought to take one in the hospital, he was a big kid, but has these tiny little legs. I just love him and pretty much mug on his sweet self all day long everyday.

Some Random Cuteness

We have had a rough week or so, just a lot of hard things going in our lives right now. I really love my children and count by blessings everyday. I cannot imagine my life without them, they truly bring so much joy to our lives and remind us about what is really important. 

Bug found some random glasses of his that were in the diaper bag or something, he was totally loving them. I think he is hilarious. We laugh everyday with this kid around, he is taking right after his big brother. 

We are starting to get some smiles from little Zee. I cannot believe how big he is already. I love this kid!

A Most Wonderful Day!

Today we had a ton of visitors, it was a crazy-wonderful day! My very dear friend Am, her daughter M and her husband Ron came to visit. This is my sweet Amy with my sweet boy. I wish Amy and Ron could have stayed forever. It was so nice just to spend time with them all.

My Mom came with Shane, Jess and George. Lots of wonderful food came with them all, we felt so blessed!

Later in the day our friend Stacy stopped by with an amzing dinner and we were able to chat with her and then my friend Angi and her friend John stopped by. It was a crazy day, but Kev and I felt totally blessed to have many of the people we love dearly with us today. I felt loved and I know little B did too.

My favorite thing in all the world!

There are lots of things about babies that could be considered "my favorite thing in all the world" but today it is the wonderful joy of having a snuggle little baby all cuddled up on you. Glorious! I know this time will be over before I know it so I took pictures of my sweet cuddly boy. 

If only I could freeze time right now. 

First Bath at Home

Someone had his first bath at home today. We are blessed as we are trying to adjust to the new little person in out home. Bug was VERY interested in what we were doing to his little brother. Kev and I had a little shadow the entire time we were bathing the little guy and after for a little while. 

B didn't really love the bath as you can see. I think he was personally offended that we would do such a thing to him. I think my favorite part of the evening (besides the wonderful smell of a freshly cleaned newborn) was the look on his face when it was all over. 

What the heck did they just do to me?
